Consent, recording and data retention
Spoken consent, call recording and how long data is kept.
- Require spoken consent — the agent's first reply asks the caller whether it's okay that the call is recorded (if recording is on) and their details are used to follow up. The answer is saved on the call. If they decline, or leave before answering, the recording is discarded and the agent does not collect personal details.
- Record calls — store call audio alongside transcripts.
- Data retention (days) — transcripts and recordings older than this are deleted automatically each day. 0 keeps them indefinitely.
